ich habe auch vorher mit Ton gearbeitet. Man kann auch Knetmasse nehmen. Aber die härtere Masse.
Damit siehst du schon, wie deine Formgebung ausgebildet ist. Mit Holz verliert man schnell die Lust, wenn sich kein Erfolg zeigt.

Modiliermasse ist super um das Gefühl für Größen und Abstände zu bekommen,hab mal ein Bild hinzugefügt damit du weißt du weißt wie ich es meine.
Der Kopf ist meine erste Arbeit mit Modiliermasse.
Keep your work covered with plastic and maybe a wet sponge in there for humidity.

until the very end. I am constantly measuring away from that line to the features of the carving.
Cedar has a different species such as yellow cedar that is smooth and aromatic when carved, red cedar that is more difficult to carve but has a rewarding red color, and white cedar that is suitable for almost all types of carving .

I'll try it with putty then.
I bought modeling clay shortly before the 2nd lockdown, but it is air-drying, very impractical. It then dries under my model.
